Leadership Certification

Turn options into opportunities. Advance your ministry and career opportunities with a specialization in a particular area of leadership.

A Briercrest Seminary Leadership Certification enhances your certified training from external organizations with personalized curriculum to meet graduate-level course standards. Then, add four additional elective courses from the MA Leadership and Management program to make a Leadership Certification.

Leadership Certifications are available in one of these seven areas: governance, self-leadership, coaching, conflict management, team leadership, change management, and leadership communication. These credits can be used towards Briercrest Seminary’s MA in Leadership and Management.

Relevant training

Tailor your certificate to suit your needs. Your four Leadership and Management courses can come from one of seven different areas to give you a more comprehensive understanding of your unique leadership context.

Pathway to a Master’s

This program leads seamlessly into graduate studies. Leadership Certification grads who want further training can use their credits towards a MA Leadership and Management or another graduate program.

Accessible education

Take advantage of education that works for you. Most courses happen in either a week-long modular format or online, so you can access training that is relevant in your context without leaving it.

As a consultant I've been able to take the work from class and use it with clients. My clients are always impressed at the theories and models I recommend we apply in their business and most of them are directly from the learning I did at Briercrest.

I learned not to take the easy answers when dealing with Scripture and theology, but to deal with uncomfortable and challenging questions, wrestling with both the text and my own biases to best determine what is true and God-pleasing.
