I spent two years at the Northern Alberta institute of Technology for business before transferring to Vanguard College to study pastoral leadership. I was interning and volunteering at a lot of different places in the hopes of figuring out where my passions were. I had also been looking at counselling programs because I saw that was a need on the streets of Edmonton where I was volunteering. My husband, Cody, encouraged me to start my masters soon after I had finished my undergrad. What I kept saying when I was thinking about careers was that I wanted to help people and counselling fits that really well.
