Background

I am the Lead Pastor of Beulah Alliance Church, a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, and multi-campus church in Greater Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. My latest book is You Are What You Do: And Six Other Lies about Work, Life, and Love. I’m also the author of No Silver Bullets and co-author of Planting Missional Churches. I co-host the IMbetween Podcast with Christina, my wife. I have served and pastored in church plants and multisite churches ranging from 100 people to 50,000 people in Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal, Korea, Edmonton, and Nashville.

My favourite part of attending Briercrest Seminary was experiencing close friendships with my fellow students. Even though I was not on campus 75 per cent of the time, I still felt that I was part of a close community.
